Mike Stevens was affected by what he saw in the news.
Children were sniffing gas out of bags. On a stop over in Goose
Bay, Labrador he acknowledged these kids while playing at a military
base, en route to play for the troops in Bosnia. Mike was taken
to task by a local journalist who challenged Mike to face these
kids. He saw the little crosses and learned of trajedies on his
way to a community and an encounter that would change him forever.
